Internet Radio is a fantastic product of
this digital age. Broadcast radio has adopted the practice of
simulcasting their over-the-air broadcast on the internet in
overwhelming numbers. Unlike a radio station's over-the-air broadcast,
very exacting listener statistics are produced from the media servers
distributing the online radio broadcast. In fact, modern digital media
players not only distribute the radio programming sent out by the radio
station, but limited other data is communicated back to the media server
sending the radio signals.
Therefore, we can know certain non-personal
information about the very listeners of the broadcast such as where they
are located (down to the zip code), when they tuned in, how long they
listened to the broadcast and we can also know exactly how many
listeners heard any particular song, news cast or more importantly your
commercial.
As a consequence of having all of this

regionally and even by zip code locally. You can chose the times of day
you want your commercial heard and the format of the radio stations
chosen to air your commercial. Some delivery platforms even collect
limited voluntary listener data regarding gender, age and income

this demographic is most likely to hear the ad, view the graphic and

of the metropolitan area, what radio formats are best suited to your
product, and we will target the right zip codes and station day-parts
that fit your requirements.
STORE PROXIMITY Target
Your retail chain has 300 locations
throughout the United States. You want to reinforce a major week-long
sale at all of your store locations. Therefore, you want to reach
Internet Radio listeners living within 25 miles of each of your stores.
50% of your stores have automotive departments and you want to target
men. The other 50% of your stores are primarily clothing and domestic
